Lower leg of the Acorn-fed Iberian pig, known as ham.
These free-range Iberian pigs, raised freely in the grazing lands in the south of Exremadura and north of Andalusia, are fed with cereals during the acorn period (montanera), they only eat acorns and natural grass.
Exceptional ham, obtained following natural and traditional procedures such as maturing processes in drying cellars.
The resultant product is afterwards cured in the same area, obtaining a genuine fragrant smell and taste as the weather conditions are the most suitable to get this exceptional product.
