Ham obtained from Iberian pigs reared in freedom, which have been exclusively fed with acorns and natural plants from holm-oak woods and meadow lands (dehesas) in Extremadura during the acorn period (Montanera).

Exceptional product, produced following natural and traditional procedures such as maturing processes in drying cellars and settled period in larders in the south of Extremadura. This fact gives the final ham a special and genuine taste, that makes it different to other hams.
These Iberian pigs, which have been designed as Denomination of Origin (DO), are raised in a natural habitat, so that they can fulfill all the requirements needed to become product of maximum quality.
The wide meadow lands of Extremadura ease the continuous movement of the pigs as they graze freely looking for acorns. This fact, together with the perfect weather conditions, make the final result become the best pure acorn-fed Iberian ham, Regulatory Council Dehesa de Extremadura (Denominación de Origen Dehesa de Extremadura).
